Welcome to a new two hours long program. It's a compilation of most the music that I discovered over the last months. Many new artists are included as well as some classics. Most of them fit under the umbrella of John Fahey's coined label "American Primitive". I know some people don't like this label, because the music is not primitive and on the other side, it's lazy to put everything in that drawer, that uses kind of a certain picking technique.

I see it this way: mentioning Fahey or American Primitivism gives you just an idea what to expect. You won't hear Jimi Hendrix guitar solos or baroque chamber music nor free jazz. If you are tired of fingerstyle guitar or there is nobody for you, who's better than Fahey, then you know what to expect either. If you like to explore contemporary guitar players you are welcome to wrap your mind around insane picking patterns, beautiful melodies and new ideas these people are coming up with.

Are you ok with the length of my mixtapes? Do you wish smaller chunks more frequently? Let me know in the comments or over there on facebook.
