Tropical may be the buzzword of the last 12 month. Everything was tropical which used that special guitarpicking pattern from calypso or similar styles. Often mixed with Garage Pop or that so called Chill Wave Muzack.
It's maybe a bit overused to refer to summertime etc. But this fits very well and it's fun to listen.
Sounds like a "tropical" version of Fleet Foxes.
They put out a digital single on bandcamp. Sadly just one track for free download. Come on - set it free. These are the last days of summer!
