American Primitive and no end.
This guy from the UK is exploring the class rooms of Takoma School and presents a variety of steel string guitar compositions. Six- and twelve-string solo guitar, electrified and accompanied by other instruments or a whole band like on the uplifting tune Mollie.
A Jackdaw's Dying Breath reminds me pretty much on Jack Rose and it's no shame to draw this comparison to Rose or Fahey or Basho and Co, because their music lives through all those new guitar players and that's just great and still exciting.
So this release is highly recommended to buy as CD or download it for a few pounds sterling. (both on the ever growing bandcamp)
