This is related to the previous Mt. Moon post. To be honest, I didn't get into all the relations of bands and projects by the members, but in case of Jakob Battrick he was one of the core members of Mt. Moon and so two tracks appear on this "Some Songs..." release.
The music is similar. Acoustic guitars, some brass instruments, glockenspiel and collectiv singing.
Noteable is the coverversion of "I'm on Fire" by good old leatherjacked rocker Bruce Springsteen. Jakob turns it into a slowed down lamenting version which doesn't remind on the original song.
It's really worth to get into this album and all the stuff the collective made, if you dig through.

With his new record "Heavy the Mountain..." it changes a bit to a slower and darker kind of music. Still with the folk roots but more into this sparse sadcore approach and more electricity. Check it too.
