Genre: LoFi Pop Noise Experiments
Label: Tavern Eightieth

Tavern Eightieth is a new NetLabel for all the unholy noise from bedroom artists. I like the trend to keep these releases short and small. A bunch of 5 songs approx. 2 minutes is cool and better than one 45 minutes track :). Anyway.
Madam Bovary is a Throbbing Gristle, Kira Brekkan inspired artist from Leeds, UK.
And TG and KB fits it very well. Fragil lofi tunes destroyed by a lot of distortion. I love how this record start with these mechanical birdcalls. "Jenny" is more in vein of Kiras stuff and so it goes on.
Maybe with that awful microphone created feedbacks (or maybe a mixer feedbackloop?) on the track "Mirror" you will lost your hearing engine and every music you listen after that will sound like Madam Bovary's. :)
I think there is a lot of potential for more heavently noises from her.
Let it flow and keep your microphone away from the amp, Madam Bovary.

The label offer another record from her and Model Warship, is the label latest quick and short ear destroyer.

Oh and I can highly recommend the Anva - Nevry release, if you like exciting noise collages!
