We are happy to annouce that the orphaned Bitemarks EP by The Goner from Sweden, found a new home here on DFBM. It's now a free flac/mp3 download. Five wonderful and different psychedelic folk songs.

From shining drones to tribalistic, medival sounding psych folk to plain acoustic songs.



This was first released on Sidways Through Sounds (AUS) but since they closed the doors this great EP was unavailable.

"Suffolk musician Nigel Simpson uploaded tracks to BBC Introducing last year and later met Graeme and Richard at the Introducing Tour in Ipswich.



Tonight on a special programme, he plays live as Sunslide and showcases tracks from his acoustic and electronic back catalogue, along with his experimental work Mechanisme and Field Piano.



Nigel, Harriet, Graeme, Richard and Mr Chunks also enjoy dinner and the conversation ranges from Suffolk ale, to Bob Dylan, to animals playing instruments."

Nigel Simpson/Sunslide released a wonderful ep called fieldpiano this year, dedicated field muzick as label and genre. We are happy that he goes further and recorded more of his Suffolk landscape and the minimal streched tunes of accordeon, piano and guitar. All enlighted with some subtle electronics and waving tapehiss.

The album is available as of july, 1st. It comes in a nice DIY cardboard Digipack or as we call it; EcoPak.
